PSM offers services in preservation, asset cataloguing, packaging for preservation and transportation, mobilisation and demobilisation of assets, offshore and onshore decommissioning, asset modifications and repair, all done with an engineered approach. PSM has grown into a company that offers the full life cycle of total, engineered asset management.
Today PSM is a mid-sized company, with a 2000sqm workshop and 1000sqm outdoor area located in Hazelmere, Perth, a 4500sqm workshop and 3000sqm hardstand in Welshpool, Perth with a decommissioning workshop in Bibra Lake, Perth.
Additionally, PSM is looking to open a collaboration workshop in Melbourne by Q4 2025.

Engineered Preservation
PSM offer engineered preservation of all types of equipment using our proven systems and method statements., Our fit for purpose, engineered solutions prevent corrosion, deterioration and damage, ensuring that assets maintain their value, integrity, process assurance requirements and process safety requirements.
Engineered Decommissioning
PSM are continuously implementing improved and more efficient ways to safely perform decommissioning activities. We specialise in deenergising, depressurising and decontaminating assets while guiding the Client through the assets value potential.
Repurpose, reduce, reuse, and recycle are core principles of PSM’s operations. We aim to minimise our environmental footprint while contributing positively to a circular economy.
Engineered Cataloguing
PSM’s engineered cataloguing services provide a systematic approach to managing assets. Our thorough documentation ensures that you have a clear and organised record of your equipment, including certifications, documents and photos, facilitating streamlined operations, visibility and cost savings.
Engineered Packaging
The PSM packaging and crate fabrication service provide crates with an engineered working load limit (WLL). Additionally, the crates are engineered and fabricated to the requirements of the National Transport Commission and AS 1720.1 – Timber Structures: Design Methods.
Meeting load bearing requirements and dynamic forces during storage and transportation, ensures that the Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements are met.
PSM’s packaging solutions are designed to meet both transportation and preservation needs, safeguarding them against deterioration, external elements and potential damage.
Engineered Test and Flush
When subsea equipment and tools need to be tested and flushed, PSM’s experienced team provides a reliable and efficient service. PSM ensure that assets are operating correctly and are free from contaminants, helping to prevent costly failures and downtime. PSM’s comprehensive method statements includes electrical testing, pressure testing, function testing, and flushing to meet industry standards and Client specific project requirements, giving confidence in the performance and longevity of the equipment.
Engineered Mobilisation and Demobilisation
The offshore environment presents unique challenges such as high costs for offshore campaigns. Effective mobilisation and demobilisation strategies mitigate risks, enhance safety measures, and optimise project timelines and costs.
PSM compiles accurate asset records for the required equipment and inspects and perform any necessary tests or certifications. We communicate with the Client and other stakeholders in the supply chain and make sure everything is ready to be sent offshore on time and in full.
During demobilisation, asset maintenance and preservation is required to bring the assets back to a required state of readiness. Proper storage, maintenance, and inspection of equipment after transit and storage help safeguard investments and ensure readiness for future deployments. PSM also supports the Client with detailed reports on what equipment that has come back and in what condition, including specific asset recommendations.
